S C H E M A: Dramatic Études for Today…and Yesterday
We live by our schemas: old ideas drafted onto blueprints we don’t check, which lay gathering dust in locked rooms. And yet, we remember the old hunts and sentimental bells of childhood. We follow the dusty blueprints of our lives, the schema of our psychological existence. The words of innocence, the scent carried by a dear scarf, the sounds of water, rushing away. How far can they take us?
RU Stage Lab is excited to present SCHEMA (СXEMA), an evening of eclectic performances that will culminate our intensive study of the actor’s craft, while interpreting the elusive ephemera of memory, and exploring the architecture of personal truth.
Reception for guests, performers, and creative team after the show.
